If you know my mom, you know she’s a big goofball. She dances around, says weird things, and can make everyone smile and not take themselves too seriously. But if you know her really well, you also know she has a big heart. She may be very silly, but much of the time, she doesn’t even mean to…it comes out of her way of giving all of her heart. During high school, she was always there
(no matter where “there” was) with a giant camcorder recording my football games (I was a cheerleader), farewells for school trips, and sometimes just hanging out at home. Yes, it was silly to see her walking around with the camera, but she was trying to capture the last moments of high school so I would always remember them.
There are a million more stories of her goofiness and generosity. But mostly I just am grateful that she’s my mom. Mother’s Day is coming up, and I hope we all find a lovely way to honor the mothers in our lives. Love you, Momma!
